      Amazing Ministry Results!

Below is an email I received from a leader of a team that took a 9 people to share the Gospel in Haiti.  Thank you for your prayers and partnering with us to make ministry like this possible!

This team was made up of 8 young adults, 30 yoa and younger plus myself.  There was one 15 year old youth on this team.  They had gone through evangelism training with me prior to the trip.  I met the team in Miami and accompanied them to Haiti.   We did  4 days of evangelism and radio distribution.  One of those days was in a prison.   This team did an outstanding work.

There was at least 61 precious souls who were reconciled to God on this trip. We shared with about 450 prisoners.  There was no way to determine and count commitments made there.

There was at least 702 people who heard the Good News of Jesus Christ face to face.

We distributed 294 radios and connected at least that many families to the minsitry of 4VEH.  If we figure 5  people in a family, that is 1230 people.  If we figure 10 to include a few neighbors that is almost 3000 people who have access to the Haitian New Testament and the every day ministry of 4VEH.  WOW!!!  Praise the Lord.

As for the team -  We all fell more in love with the Lord and His Good News for others. We all gained passion and confidence for sharing that Good News.  We grew in our love for God, for Haiti and were all touched and changed by the Lord in different ways.   To borrow some words from a Haitian who was thanking me for something - My mouth is too small to really express how God worked in our hearts through Haiti and the people of Haiti.

        Always Be On The Lookout!

Below is an account from a team we sent to Haiti that got stuck in the DFW airport because they missed their flight due to weather.

Well we were all disappointed when we missed the flight and had to spend the night in Dallas and so was I.  Buttttt God had other ideas. While setting at the computer bar to plug in the i-pad to charge and look at pictures I had the chance to visit with this young girl. Megan goes to school in New Mexico where her father lives, her mother lives in New York so a broken family. As we visited I could feel an empty heart and we visited a little on her spiritual live. Megan had attended a Catholic school and taken all the right studies etc but had no idea that God wanted her to be His child. I had a Gideon New Testament that had been given to me just before leaving home. I am a Gideon but didn't have a testament with me. I used this little New Testament to show her several verses of God's love and plan for her. She then asked if I had another that she could have. I told her that I didn't but she could have that one and she just smiled. I then asked her if she would  like to take Christ as her Saviour.  She said "I don't know why not". It was very touching to hear her pray a very simple but from the heart pray asking Christ to forgive and to fill her life.

Megan was alone in the airport and staying the night as she had missed her plane also. I asked her if she wanted to sleep with our group as we had a girl in the group with us and an extra cot. I didn't want to see her alone all night in a large airport. She smiled again and said sure. Please pray that her life will be changed and her walk with God will glorify HIM.   Guess it wan't so bad to miss the flight.

Thank you for your prayers for this team and the many other we send out on a weekly basis.   Isn't it cool how God works in mysterious ways?  Always be on the lookout for opportunities to share you faith.

        New Brother In Christ

I received this update from our team working in Port-au-Prince this morning.  What an amazing way to start off the day.  Thank you for praying for these teams.

        Bon swa!
Greetings everyone!  We had another nice, warm day in Gressier.  Brother Glenn started us out this morning by sharing his testimony.   Eddie, one of the family members who will be living in home #37 and who has been working with us the last couple weeks, came forward to accept Jesus.  The work that was done the rest of the day sure seemed to pale in significance compared to having a new brother in Christ today.

For home #38, the trusses were set, the perlins and brace system were installed, and the metal roof was attached.  We were short one piece of metal to finish the roof cap, but we should have that tomorrow for installation.  The Haitian crew, with some of the team's help, continued work on the spackling for #38.  Over on home #39, the final touches on the foundation wall forms were made, steel installed, then the wall was poured.  After lunch, the forms for the foundation were pulled, site excavating was done, and materials were moved in place for the next construction steps.

Plans for tomorrow are to install the ceiling system for #38, and start building the walls, door frames and trusses for #39.  The team continues to have great opportunities to interact and share Christ's love with many others.  We are grateful for those opportunities.  We are also praising Jesus for a fantastic day!

        Thanks for your prayers.

Here are a few pictures I received from this team too.
